The pressure regulator protects the equipment and the pipes at its outlet from excessive water pressure. These indirectly controlled pressure regulators are used especially in cases where directly controlled pressure reducing valves do not provide sufficient flow capacity. Their compact design allows them to be used even in limited spaces, for example in installation shafts. By installing a pressure regulator, damage to the equipment caused by high pressure can be prevented and water consumption is also reduced. The set pressure at the outlet is kept constant even if the inlet pressure fluctuates significantly. By reducing the operating pressure and keeping it at a constant level, noise in the system is minimized.
